G & D's Destination San Francisco Wedding

I love San Francisco.  But as a girl who was born and raised here, I am completely comfortable with the fact that I am totally biased.  But to meet a couple, from fabulous Miami no less, who chose San Francisco for their destination wedding, I was so excited to be a part of it.

Giselle had a very clear vision of what she wanted to see at her black and white city wedding.  What I loved most about her overall floral concept, is everything looks deceptively simple due to the minimal floral palette of using just 3 flowers - phalaenopsis orchids, white "Tibet" roses and hydrangeas .  This kept the look very forward, clean and lush.

To maximize the look of the wedding throughout, we were very smart and repurposed several of the pieces starting from the confetti bar.  As guests entered the ceremony area they were greeted with a confetti bar where they were  invited to either grab a confetti stick or customize their own confetti mix to shower the couple with love after their first kiss.  We used 2 of the oversized hydrangea ball centerpieces to flank each side of the confetti bar.  For the ceremony we used 2 of the rose and orchids centerpieces atop our custom mirrored pillars and the over-the-top draping orchid arrangement as a backdrop for their I do's.   The super luscious draped orchid arrangement was later repurposed to the sweetheart table, which made the perfect frame for Giselle and Danny's pictures during their reception.

For her bouquet, Giselle had her heart set on a white peony bouquet, which was a little more difficult given that its fall.  But thanks to my amazing vendors at the flower market, we were able to make her peony dreams come true and import some extremely large white peonies.  To complete her Miami glam bouquet, we accented her bouquet with a rhinestone mesh wrap and a super sized sparkling broach.  For boutonnieres, we did clean and sweet white ranunculus that perfectly complimented the mens white dinner coats perfectly!  Since the bridesmaids wore long black gowns with a sexy sparkling mesh back and cap sleeve, again, we kept the look clean and minimal with white roses and sparkling accents to match their dresses.  The bridesmaids bouquets were even repurposed into the reception area to make 2 large rose arrangements.  My favorite look of the bridal party though, had to be the black tulle dresses of the flower girls.  I am a huge fan of black and white weddings, but there's something so very unconventional about little girls in black that is just crazy chic.

Giselle did such a wonderful job completing her wedding with beautifully coordinated details including her monogram menus at each place setting, black and white mignardises bar and Pretty Please SF black, white and gold wedding cake that sported the same monogram as her menus.

It was such a pleasure to be a part of such a glamorous destination SF wedding.  To help make my brides wedding flower dreams, makes me so happy and thankful to do what I do.  Another WISH granted!
